The SciQuest Novel series is a set of stand-alone middle-grade novels with humor, hints of science, and homeschooled heroes! The novels can be read in any order, but there are a few crossover characters and places throughout the series.
1: Meet Milo Pemberton and LB!
In The PB Nanner Fluffer Test, Milo is perfectly content with his only friend: a ladybug rock. Until one day, dressed as a chloroplast and covered in minty foam, he cracks a dry joke. Addy laughs, and suddenly Milo finds himself with a crew of almost-friends who appreciate his unique humor.
This middle-grade novel is perfect for fans of Wonder and The Wild Robot, plus those who enjoy a coming-of-age story that captures the courage it takes to move from imaginary friends to real ones in a homeschool co-op. The PB Nanner Fluffer Test touches on cells, vertebrates, and our planet.
2: Join Addy and the whole Whitaker family!
In The Route 66 Sticky Note Quest, Addy and her family have been living in their renovated Bluebird bus as they homeschool and travel around the US. One morning, she finds a mysterious sticky note on a restroom mirror written in her late grandmother’s shaky cursive. That yellow square holds the first clue in a scientific scavenger hunt stretching down historic Route 66.
This middle-grade novel is perfect for fans of The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street and The Gollywhopper Games, plus those who enjoy a coming-of-age story that blends mystery, family bonds, and the thrill of discovery! The Route 66 Sticky Note Quest touches on matter, solutions, and forces.
3: Watch Lucy share her talents with the River Falls Homeschooling Co-op!
