The Sassafras Science Adventures Volume 1: Zoology
The summer-long, science-filled, adventure-packed journey begins with a look at animals!
In The Sassafras Science Adventures Volume One: Zoology the zip-lining science adventure of Blaine and Tracey Sassafras begins - and we want you to join the journey!
Join the Sassafras Twins as they travel to exotic locales to learn about animals.
Together, you will learn all about the amazing animals that can be found around the globe. In the book, Blaine and Tracey Sassafras visit locations like:
The African Grasslands to discover more about the lion and cheetah;
The Amazon Rainforest to learn about the sloth and poison dart frog;
And the Alaskan Arctic to study the musk ox and snow goose.
The twins will meet a variety of local experts who help them to learn about the animals in the region. Along the way, they will all discover a budding interest in science.
We want you to enjoy learning about zoology, too!
And, we know that through every roar, snort, and lick this living book will teach your students about animals in a way that they’ll never forget!
We know this because thousands of readers have already told us so. Here is what one of our Sassy-Sci peeps had to say about the first leg of the adventure:
"My kids ages 6,9,and 11 have enjoyed this book! They love science days and beg for me to read more. It has heightened their interest in animals and it has made them want to learn more. Great fun story. Great program."Review by A. McKelvey
