It is super easy to get caught up in the could-have's, should-have's, and if-I-would-have's when it comes to life and homeschooling, especially around this time of year when we are forming our plans for the next school year. But doing so paralyzes us and keeps us from moving forward, which just compounds the problem.
So when I meet a homeschool mom at a convention who feels guilty about the fact that her kids haven't done any science to date, my advice is always the same.
"Don't sweat what you haven't done as you can't change the past. The thing to do is start with where you are and move forward."

As you move forward with your plan, don't obsess about what didn't happen in the past. Instead, get excited about the future!
