Alright, so to help you guys prepare for this next year of homeschool we are sharing 5 days of boot camp. We have already covered all the nitty gritty stuff you need to teach science for next year, but I wanted to leave you all with a bit of encouragement as you set out to teach science in your homeschool for another year. Let’s dig in!
There one thing I want you to remember when it comes to teaching science – Plan for success but be prepared to be flexible.
#1 – Plan for success.
We get ready to teach science by planning for success.
And the good news is that over the last four days you have definitely done the work of planning your year of science!
#2 – Get tips to help.
But you can continue to plan for success by getting tips to help you as you work through those plans. You can do this by:
- Reading books,
- Following helpful blogs
- Or by listening to podcasts.
Basically, you want to find a few places you can turn to when you hit a rough patch in your plans that you need to work through.
#3 – Be ready to be flexible.
You have planned for success, but the reality is that despite our best-laid plans, things don’t always go smoothly.
The beauty of homeschooling is that we can be flexible!
So you have planned for success as we have walked through these last four days of boot camp and I trust that you have gleaned lots of tips to help you be flexible through the reality of your days of teaching science. I hope that you feel encouraged and ready to dig into teaching science with your kids this next year!
