What are Experiments?

  • Most people say experiments when they are referring to a broader range of hands-on scientific tests.
  • My Definition – A hands-on scientific test gives your student a chance to see, practice, test, or learn about a principle, or principles, in science.

The benefits of incorporating hands-on science:

  • Hands-on science reinforces scientific concepts.
  • Hands-on science helps students to see science face-to-face.
  • Hands-on science shows science is more than facts.
  • Hands-on science fosters scientific creativity.
