Homeschool Science Tip - Get together with a friend to do experiments!

Do you remember the old Doublemint gum commercial from the 90's? The one that with the jingle "Double the pleasure, double the fun"? (Here's the video, just in case you want to watch it over again.)

Well getting together with a friend to do experiments is like chewing a stick of Double-mint gum for your homeschool science plans. 

Your students can interact and work together, which means that discussion times are double the fun. Plus you get to share the burden with another teacher, which will lead to chatting shop, making the time double the fun for you!

You can do this by:

  • Joining a local co-op
  • Setting up a time to meet with a friend each week or month

Either way, doing some or all of your planned experiments with a friend is a great way to change things up and add a bit of fun to your homeschool science routine.
