Biology for the Grammar Stage

Biology for the Grammar Stage is a complete 36 week set of plans for biology. It is designed to be used with 1st and 2nd graders, but the plans include ideas to adjust the plans for use with your older students. They lay out a 20 week study of animals using the Kingfisher First Encyclopedia Of Animals, a 10 week study of the human body using the DK First  Human Body Encyclopedia and a 6 week study of plants using Plant Parts from the Life of Plants Series. The plans include vocabulary, experiments, narrations and ongoing projects. I have also created a student workbook to go along with the plans. The workbook includes all the pages you need for the ongoing projects, narrations and experiments that are planned. The workbook also includes over 100 pictures for you to use with those pages. I have put in the hard work so that you don't have to!

Biology for the Logic Stage (Available in Spring of 2011)

Biology for the Logic Stage will contain the plans for your logic stage student to take a journey through the  principles of Biology.  The student guide includes all student assignment sheets, sketches, experiment sheets and blank report pages that the student will need to complete the year.  The student assignment sheets give weekly topics, dates to enter, what to label on the sketches, experiment directions, report options and memory work.  The parent’s guide gives tips on how to lead your student through the program and possible answers for the student’s work.  It is intended to be used with grades 5-7.
